Quantized Hall effect due to charge density waves
A theory of quantized Hall conductivity σΗ which takes into account the interelectronic interaction via a charge density wave (CDW), is constructed. σΗ increases linearly with increasing degree of filling ν with the exception of rational points v r/p with small p> where a gap arises in the spectrum, while σΗ exhibits a singularity, becoming a multiple of e2/h.
